Pauline first joined the Committee in 2004 because she was interested in how the Association worked and how it got involved in the community, beyond collecting rent. She is currently a committee member but has had numerous roles throughout the committee over the years. Pauline has been Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary and has played a massive part in the association throughout the years. She has lived in Barlanark for over 25 years and has seen massive improvements over the years including overseeing the new builds, more community involvement and the area being improved in general.
Pauline is very popular within Barlanark and has many friends in the area. She also volunteers when needed in the Calvay Centre and at various community events. Pauline hopes that in the future she will see more community involvement from the residents of Barlanark. Her vison for the future is that the community comes together more and interacts more with each other especially the ethnic minorities moving within the area. Pauline hopes that these ethnic minorities can share their traditions, cooking, history and ideas more over the coming years.
